Solution

We developed a content strategy and technology to support the Reed Smith brand position and communications that allows them to deliver legal services in a customer-friendly way.

We ensured that Reed Smith didn’t appear faceless through a unified online identity, this allowed us to develop multiple country websites for offices in every major global city.

To humanise the experience of engaging with the firm, we designed a visual presence that uses employee images to communicate the Reed Smith brand proposition.

Research told us that Reed Smith clients wanted to access their attorney on the move. With our best-of-breed web development the site is optimised to work on mobile web browsers. We have used design and technology in a simple way, providing Reed Smith with the ability to develop individual relationships between their clients and attorneys within a global multinational, anytime and anywhere.

What’s more, customers can now be directed to the most appropriate attorney. Anyone can access a personalised account of the most relevant attorney’s region-specific skills, activities and insights.

We also created a central online repository and developed the mechanisms to allow staff, clients and prospects alike to use information relevant to their needs instantly.

Clients can personalise their view of the firm’s activities, registering for content updates based on their preferences, delivered by customised RSS, email and social channels. Information is automatically ranked by popularity of view, interlinked and distributed online or to mobile and social media channels that naturally cross sell the firm’s skills and services.

We implemented a bespoke CMS framework that matches Reed Smith’s needs for now and in the future. Wherever Reed Smith staff is based they can easily manage daily updates and additions to the centralised repository of over 14,000 pieces of content.

As part of the central repository there is a functionality that draws content from the central repository and populates proposal templates, freeing time for attorneys to respond to the nuances of client-specific responses.
